Strategy of the JSC FI "UZVTORCVETMET" in the field of industrial safety, labor protection and the environment is to ensure safe working conditions for employees, protect the health of the personnel of the enterprise and the population living in its area of activity, and maintain a favorable environment.

Assessment of compliance with legislative requirements in the field of environmental protection is carried out in the course of daily operations of structural units (workshops and sites), as well as for internal environmental inspections of regional branches. During such internal checks, external inquiries and messages from state control and supervision bodies are analyze. As a whole activity of the enterprise is carried out within the framework of the specifications established and coordinated with the state supervising bodies in the field of the preservation of the environment, stipulated by requirements of the nature protection legislation of Republic Uzbekistan. In case of occurrence of questions regarding in the field of environmental protection, purposes and tasks are established and corresponding actions on elimination of lacks are developed.
The industrial base of JSC FI "UZVTORCVETMET" allows carry out all technological processes of nonferrous metals recycling - from processing raw material to manufacture of a wide spectrum of high-quality alloys according to domestic and international standards, as well as according to the technical specifications of the customer.

The equipment for primary preparation of raw materials and melting equipment of the metallurgical complex allows processing any kinds of scrap and waste of non-ferrous metals - motor and deformed scrap, shavings, cans, slags. To date, 8 workshops and 2 sites are operating..
In 2002, a modern line for the production of copper-based alloys was launched in Central Asia, which has no analogues in Central Asia. The installed induction crucible furnace of the brand "INDUCTOTHERM" (Germany), the world's largest manufacturer of induction melting equipment, allows melting raw materials from non-ferrous metals while preserving their chemical properties and producing the smelted metal without mixing various metal alloys.
Also, the boiler was updated to re-melting the aluminum scrap. The production capacity of this boiler, which brought from abroad, is about 10 thousand tons per year. Advantages of its installation are that it saves time, fuel and electricity, which are spend for melting.
Equipment for aluminum processing refers to melting units for re-melting secondary aluminum scrap and aluminum alloy waste into ingots and pig ingots. A reflecting furnace for aluminum alloys, a large-sized universal shredder, a granulated iron granulator, plasma-cutting devices been installed.
Reflective furnace can be used for refining, obtaining alloys, averaging the chemical composition. Furnace is equipped with a modern thyristor control unit and temperature sensors, which makes it possible to maintain the melt temperature with an accuracy of 1 C0. Distinctive feature of the established furnace are magnificent technical properties.
Factory is proud of technologies on processing the fulfilled storage batteries - the main source of secondary lead. Due to the complex composition of obsolete electronic products and devices are utilized very limited, and most often come to landfills around the world. Modern lead accumulators contain some components, suitable for processing, major of which are lead-based alloys, the metal itself, its dioxide, and polypropylene. Since 2005, the company has been involved in a complex of equipment for the mechanized separation of lead batteries with automatic adjustment of the parameters of technological operations. Main equipment of the plants are crushers, hydrodynamic separators and classifiers of various constructions. Productivity of such installations makes from 5 up to 50 tons of batteries per hour.
Besides three small reflective furnaces for output of additional cost (the enameled wires, storage batteries, aluminum cathodes, etc.) are constructed and handed over in operation. Presence of the factory laboratory equipped with the modern spectral equipment of brand "SPEKTROLAB" (Germany), enables to make competitive production and to carry out the precision analysis of a chemical compound of alloys of nonferrous metals according to the world standards and Government Standards of Republics Uzbekistan. Complex equipment of laboratory includes the equipment and devices, analytical technics, chemical reactants and laboratory utensils. Presence of a plenty of standard samples allows to adjust the device on the control practically any alloy. In process of smelting, constant express train - control of a chemical composition of liquid metal is conducted.
In production, effective modified fluxes and alloying components are used; Produced alloys are degassed and filtered through foam ceramic filters, which allows to obtain high purity alloys that fully meet the requirements of customers. In recent years, all the technologies of the plant have been completely updated, modernized, due to which their effectiveness has been improved. Specialists of the plant are doing a lot of work to positively solve the problem of air pollution, the introduction of waste-free technologies when working with waste and rational use of energy resources. In addition, the work on reconstruction and modernization is actively continuing through the purchase and installation of modern energy-saving technologies and equipment, the technical re-equipment of production, the improvement of knowledge and skills of employees. High level of professionalism, as well as modern equipment of Russian, German, American, Japanese, Indian and Spanish production allow JSC "UZVTORCVETMET" to achieve high quality products. All types of products are certified.
JSC FI “UZVTORCVETMET” is a modern enterprise with progressive sights at business dealing. Therefore, new achievements are being used not only in the production sphere, but also in the field of information technology. Innovative way of development of the enterprise is a wide use of the latest achievements of science and technology in the industry and a guarantee of increasing the efficiency of its work.

One of the first steps to increase the efficiency of the plant's business was the use of more than 10 thousand tons of spent aluminum slag wastes accumulated on the territory of the plant for decades. The advanced successful technology on processing slags with the help of the modern equipment "REMETAL" (Spain) has allowed simultaneously with reduction in significant damage to an environment to find a new resource to export new type of product. Today, 50% of the slag waste from large (80 to 3 mm), medium (from 3 to 0.15 mm) and small (less than 0.15 mm) fractions of aluminum product is exported, the rest is sold to local producers.
In order to reduce production costs and increase the competitiveness of products, the enterprise has now started re-equipment of lead production. Instead of obsolete factory capacities, new imported equipment "GRAVITA" (India) is installed. Commissioning of the production complex from the leading manufacturer, and with it the introduction of innovative technologies for processing lead, will help increase production capacity, depth and quality of raw materials processing, which will allow producing new, highly profitable and best-selling export-oriented products.
With the purpose of improvement of professional skill, training to the advanced methods, group of ten engineers from JSC FI “UZVTORCVETMET” organized foreign training to India.
Besides, JSC "UZVTORCVETMET" is an active participant in various international conferences, forums and meetings held in various countries at a high level, which increases the authority and prominence of the enterprise in the international arena. So, young technologists and constructors of the enterprise became participants of the Fifth International Metallurgical Conference "Metallurgy-Intecheco-2012". The main directions of the conference were: modernization and reconstruction of metallurgical furnaces, updating equipment of non-ferrous metallurgy plants, increase of economic and industrial safety, recycling, gas purification, water treatment, automation and efficiency of metallurgical enterprises.
The enterprise has established the production of components for cars: these are brackets of the generator and brackets for fastening the motor for a motor vehicle of mark Nexia, contracts were concluded with the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine for the production of spare parts for large-capacity equipment.
On the basis of factory capacities and customer-supplied raw materials, it is planned to launch a new production - the production of Teflon coated dishes, with a total capacity of 1,440 units per month.
One of the promising projects of the plant is well-established cooperation with enterprises of Turkmenistan for the procurement and import of scrap and non-ferrous metal waste.
A mutually beneficial partnership is being established with Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AMMC), Uzmetkombinat (Bekabad), Hi-Tech Cable (Tashkent), UzKTZhM (Chirchik). So, part of the assortment of export-oriented products of these enterprises will be produced on the basis of the customer's raw materials, including the production of copper foil (with a monthly volume of 46 tons), cable, aluminum foil, components for assembly at the staircase of ladders. Volume of export of a copper foil predicted in the nearest years will make 70 % from total amount of manufacture, and an aluminum foil - 20 percent.
Priority directions of activity of JSC FI “UZVTORCVETMET” in sphere of modernization and innovations is, first, preservation of current production volumes at the achieved level, and also increase of efficiency of activity on all directions, maintenance of harmonious work of the basic enterprise and its regional divisions.
One of the main tasks in achieving these goals is the implementation of a large-scale investment program for basic production and infrastructure in order to increase production, upgrade and ensure the stability of the equipment, and, of course, optimize costs.
Within the framework of the investment program for 2015-2020, the company is planning six projects with total cost of capital investments 2,61 million USD dollars.
